Regeneration Liverpool, (legally registered as Liverpool Partnership LLP) is a Limited Liability Partnership, established to assist Liverpool City Council with its ambitious regeneration strategy for the city.
The Partnership, formed in March 2007, is a joint venture between Liverpool City Council and regeneration specialist Sigma Inpartnership Limited. Regeneration Liverpool will work with the community, public and private sectors to ensure sustainable and effective regeneration across the City of Liverpool.
Regeneration Liverpool is a 15 year partnership that is initially regenerating approximately 63 acres of the former Boot Estate in Norris Green. It is consensus driven and managed by a Board consisting of three Liverpool City Council representatives and two Sigma Inpartnership representatives. This long term flexible partnership has gained recognition and support from Central Government, and despite challenging economic times has continued to deliver and has set out a £200m framework of investment opportunities in Liverpool over the next 10 years.
Liverpool’s first Mayor, Joe Anderson, was elected in May 2012 and set out very clearly his policies, priorities and targets. The Partnership’s priorities will contribute to achieving the Mayor’s targets and assist in achieving his ambitious vision for the city and its people.
The joint venture has recently been extended to include Neptune Developments and Countryside Properties. Both are working with Sigma Inpartnership and the Council on feasibility, planning and design possibilities for a number of priority sites across the city.
